My junior level students are currently learning how to use Photoshop to render floor plans, elevations and perspective drawings. Here is a render that I ran across on the web that illustrates Venturi & Scott Brown's addition to the Allentown Art Museum in Pennsylvania. This rendering effectively mixes what appears to be hand drawn elements with photography and perhaps 3D modeling software. Interesting effect!

Above is an image of the open studio at LdM. Below are part of our TCU Florence Study Abroad group on the steps of the Duomo. Nineteen students from TCU traveled to Firenze to participate in a semester of study. Three of the group are interior design students. I met with the director of the interior design program at Lorenzo de Medici school and got to see some of the projects that students have previously completed. We are working toward a virtual and simultaneous presentation of design projects this spring from TCU and LdM.
